Silvstedt has been working as a hostess of La Roue de la Fortune in France and La Ruota Della Fortuna in Italy since 2006. Both of the shows are based on the popular American game show Wheel of Fortune, and Silvstedt divides her time between Paris and Rome, filming one of the shows for one month at a time.In 2010, Silvstedt hosted her own television show Sport by Victoria on Eurosport during the 2010 Winter Olympics. The light-hearted programme introduced different winter sports, and it was done both in English and French. The show aired every evening from 13 February to 28 February on Eurosport at 18:20 CET and on Eurosport 2 at 19:55 CET.

She is known for her roles on the Canadian television series teen soap Edgemont and on the American television series Smallville in which she starred as Lana Lang.In 2003, she made her first feature film, a cameo appearance in the film Eurotrip, starring Scott Mechlowicz and Michelle Trachtenberg. The film, shot in Prague, Czech Republic, also featured cameos by Matt Damon and Lucy Lawless. It debuted in theatres on February 20, 2004. In early 2005, Kreuk signed on to the independent feature film Partition. She plays Naseem, a vulnerable seventeen-year-old whose world is shattered by the trauma of the Partition of India in 1947; she falls in love with ex-British Indian Army officer Gian Singh (played by Jimi Mistry). Neve Campbell also stars. The film is directed by Vic Sarin and is a co-production between Canada, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
